Privacy policy

We currently use no cookies, accounts, third-party analytics, or advertising trackers.

A visitor counter sends a heartbeat containing the page language and referring page to /api/hb every 30 seconds while this page is visible. On Cloudflare Pages, the request is relayed to our server. The server computes a SHA-256 hash from the IP address, browser user-agent, and a random salt that changes daily and is deleted the next day. Only a truncated hash is stored; raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are not stored. Daily hashes are deleted after 2 days, and active-visitor entries are deleted after 90 seconds. Only aggregate counts are kept long-term: daily unique visits, language, and referring site domain (not the full URL).

Your browser's localStorage keeps your chosen country, language, and reference-toggle setting on your device only.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages and a Microsoft Azure server. Their standard request logs may apply.

If advertising such as Google AdSense is added later, we will update this policy before it goes live, including any cookie disclosure.
